Meredith Secor, 84 of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away peacefully on April 2, 2017. Mr. Secor was born in Proctor, Arkansas on May 22, 1932. Meredith enjoyed various professions over the years however he worked and was retired from the Crittenden Memorial Hospital after a long successful career. Mr. Secor also served his country faithfully with the United States Army during the Korean War in 1954.
Mr. Secor leaves behind his wife of 60 years Rosemary Roderick Secor; two sons, Meredith ''Buddy'' Secor Jr. (Deanie) of Stafford, Virginia and Douglas ''Doug'' Edward Secor (Jeb) of Zachary, Louisiana; one daughter Linda Dell Secor of West Memphis; two grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Secor (Louise) of Virginia and Justin Allen Secor (Merideth) of California; four great-grandchildren, Cameron Vincent Secor, Josephine Regina Secor, Charlotte Louise Secor of Dumfries, Virginia and Philippa Grey Secor ''Pippa'' of San Francisco; and a host of special nephews and nieces.
A graveside Service will be Friday, April 7 at 10:00 am at Crittenden Memorial Park, Marion.

Aunt Rosemary, We were so shocked to hear of Uncle Meredith's passing today and mama and I send our deepest sympathy our love and our prayers to you , Linda, Buddy and Doug and all the grandkids. At least we know Uncle Meredith is in Heaven and he is no longer struggling to breathe and carrying an oxygen tank. Ii know it hurts none the less. May God be with you all through this difficult time and I will call you later. We love y'all! He was such a special man! <3
