Dorothy Mae Herbert Wynn went to her Heavenly home November 7, 2016, at the age of 92. She was born October 10, 1924 at Earle, Arkansas and was raised in the Earle/Heafer communities.
She is preceded in death by her husband Will E. ''Dub'' Wynn, her mother Jessie C. Herbert, her father R. G. Herbert, sister Lois Fowler and two brothers Paul Herbert and Robert Herbert.
She is survived by daughters Shan Bailey of West Memphis, Brenda Bayer and husband John of Richmond, Virginia; three grandsons, Donald Bailey of Bee Branch, Arkansas, David Bailey of West Memphis and John ''Chip'' Bayer and wife Peggy of Lonoke, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren, Glen Bailey of Memphis, Tennessee, Courtney Bailey and Caitlyn Bailey of Marion and Megan Bayer and Katie Bayer of Lonoke, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Dear Brenda,
I thought about you all day, lit my prayer candles and picked several roses, and thank you for this photo of your beautiful Mama. I feel as if I know her so well even tho we have not met, but maybe we will meet someday. Her obituary is very nice also.
She always spoke with love and caring about you and her family.
I'm so glad her service was so very special and I understand that it was the hardest day of your life.
How very fortunate she was to have you help her so endearingly through her difficult times. She knew you loved her so much.
I'm so thankful Dot was in my life and I loved, and still love, her dearly too.
Please let me know her favorite charity, or preference, so I can send a donation in her memory.

Dear Brenda, John & Family
You are remembered today in our prayers, and will continue to be during the days that follow. We ask our God to comfort you with beautiful memories of Mrs. Wynn's own life as well as those of her role in yours.
There's no way to fully prepare for the going-home of a loved one, but the fact that she, and you, have built your house on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ means you are not alone in these emotionally stormy times. God's peace, God's comfort, will prevail as He holds you close to Himself.

Dear Brenda and John,
We are praying for you and the family during these days of grief, knowing our Lord will give you the peace that passes understanding. For we rejoice in the hope that comes from knowing your mom knew Christ as her Lord and Savior.
While I never had a chance to meet Dorothy myself, I see the impact she had on you. I always enjoy hearing your stories of her and your dad. You were blessed with a wonderful family, rich in so many ways.
