Lila Mae Eck

of Naylor,

February 14, 1927 - February 23, 2018

Lila Mae Eck, 91, of Naylor, surrounded by family, passed into peaceful rest February 23, 2018, after many years of confusion from dementia. She was born in Florence, AL on February 14, 1927 to William and Mary (McDonald) Reynolds.

Mae helped her husband farm, bale hay and tend cattle while raising her children. Then she became a proud associate of Wal-Mart, where she worked for 18 years, making many friends with fellow employees and customers. After retirement she enjoyed the grand and great-grandchildren, tending her yard and flowers, until cancer and Alzheimer's took its toll.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Thomas P. Eck, Sr., her parents, two brothers, 3 sisters, 3 grandsons, and one great-grandson.

Mae is survived by 5 sons, Thomas P. Eck, Jr., (Betty) of Mt. Vernon, John Paul Eck (Judi) of Danville, KY, Joe Eck (Kathy) of Naylor, Jerome ''Bo'' Eck (Terri) of Fairview, TX, Robert Eck of Greenbrier, 3 daughters, Margurite Russaw of Conway; Debbie Krumbach (''Krow'') and Patricia ''Cricket'' Moix (Scott), both of Naylor, 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, one sister, Marjenna Reynolds of Florence, AL, various nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is Monday February 26th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10am at the funeral home. Interment is at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Her sons, Tom, John, Joe, Bo and Bob and son-in-law, Krow will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Moix, her grandsons and granddaughters.

The family offers heartfelt thanks to the staff of Kindred Hospice, especially Mary, Dr. David Naylor, Dr. Sue Tsuda and staff, and many who offered prayers, concern, and help.

Praise to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for the peace, assurance, and endurance that sustained us throughout Mama's long journey on earth.
