I love u grandpa!! Thank u for filling so many shoes and being my grandpa, the only one that i ever knew.. for as far back as i can remember, u were the only one that i can remember.. and i love u for that.. i remember always sitting on the arm of ur chair as we watched wheel of fortune and bickered with grandma mattie to turn her chair so we could see the tv.. i remember riding to the races with u and listening to all ur stories about when u were a kid and then on the way back from the races i remember listening to u gripe and growl the whole way home bc of how the raced turned out... unless of course if dad won, u smiled so damn big.. noone could have missed that smile.. there was no hiding it when u were proud of what one of the kids or grandkids accomplished or did great at!!! Anyways, i love u Grandpa, more then u will ever know amd i want to thank u from the bottom of my heart for being the best grandpa to me that i ever could have been blessed with... blood or not, u were my only true grandpa!! Tell grandma Mattie that i love her so much and miss her more then words can say... until we meet again....Fly high
Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about him and bring him back again. John 5:28, 29 gives this assurance.
