Annette Johnston Roberson, born March 13, 1937, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the sunny Sunday morning of July 2, 2017. Annette was born in Sulphur Springs, TX, to the late Sam L. and Zella Mae Johnston.
She was married to the love of her life, whom she has been reunited with in Glory, Vernon Frank "Robbie" Roberson on August 19, 1954. As a loving Navy wife, Annette supported and stood by Robbie which took them all across the United States. She was most proud of her faith in Jesus Christ and shared it continually with her family. She served at Second Baptist Church in Conway, AR, for many years and was an avid member of her Sunday school class.
Annette is preceded in death by her husband, her mother and father, great grandchild Cody Tucker, and seven siblings: Woodrow Johnston, Ray Johnston, Bonnie Johnson, Hilda Rasperry, B.F. Johnston, Edna Earl Jackson, and Billy Johnston. She is survived by one loving sister Jimmie (Jack) Herring, daughters Denise Proctor and Valerie Hull, son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kim Roberson, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the funeral home.
