Martha Ann McConnell, 84, of Conway Arkansas peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2017. Martha was born to the late Elisha and Reba Sue Barber of Texarkana, Texas. She married the love of her life John Paul McConnell of Atlanta, Texas in 1952. He preceded her in death in July of 1991. Martha is survived by her sister and best friend Sue Simmons of Bryant, Arkansas, and four loving children; Beckye (Larry) Ezell, Stewart (Teresa) McConnell, Jay (Tami) McConnell of Conway and Doug (Andrea) McConnell of Rogers. Grandchildren include Heather Owens, Heidi Henige, Megan Swann, Brittany Davis, John Bryant McConnell, Lauren Van Ness, Landon Ezell, Jeffrey McConnell, Laine McConnell, Hayden McConnell, Bo McConnell, Clay McConnell and Brett McConnell, and 11 great grandchildren.

Many blessings to all of Martha Ann's family. In my nearly two years of taking care of Nanaw I witnessed all of her children in all of their special ways doing the best they could for their dear Mother. She often told me that she appreciated and was proud of them all. I'm honored to have been able to care for her , as an extension of the entire family. I will never forget her smile , eyes and her sense of humor. Rest in Love, Ms Martha 🙂

Dear Family,
Thinking of you and praying for all of your precious family. We loved your beautiful mom and loved being around her and your dad, one of Conway's most special couples. We feel blessed to have known both of them. Your mom's loving and generous spirit was a marvelous influence, not just in Conway but everywhere she traveled. She was a treasure and will be missed.
May God's blessing be on your family in the days ahead.
