Ida Mae Satterwhite, 87, of Conway, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. She was born Saturday, May 16, 1929 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Sterling Price and Josephine Paris (Taylor) Taylor.
Ida was the late Harold Dean Satterwhite's soul mate, and their marriage of 53 years began in 1948.
Ida loved the Lord, her family and puppy companion, Dixie Annabelle. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and girl trips. She was a homemaker and a fantastic cook. Mamaw's home was a favorite place to go; everyone knew they would be greeted with something to eat and a hug.
She was preceded in death also by her five brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her three daughters and sons in law, Linda and Bill Cossey, Patti and Jerry Reynolds, and Phyllis and Richard Kennedy, son and daughter in law, Mike and Kay Satterwhite, all of Conway, thirteen grandchildren, twenty nine great- grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral Service will be 3:00pm Monday, April 10, 2017 at Roller McNutt with Pastors Don Chandler and Jeff Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Chris and Keith Nicholson, Chad and Matt Reynolds, Jon and Josh Kennedy, and Taylor and Payton Satterwhite.
Honorary Pallbearers are Chuck, Spencer, Grant, Zach, and Brett Clawson.
The family will be at the home of Phyllis and Richard Kennedy.
