With loving arms opened wide from his Lord and Savior, Bobby Wayne Price, of Conway, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 24, 2016, Bobby was 65 years of age.
He was born Thursday, December 28, 1950, in Conway, to the late Thurman Wayburn Price and the late Recie Jo Herring Price Ross.
Bobby was a graduate of Conway High School, honorably retired from the U.S. Army, lead singer of Promise Land Southern Gospel group, retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Conway, and a deacon at Friendship Baptist Church for 25 years.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Tommy Price and Tony Price.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years Arlene Brown Price; son, Jeff Price (Michelle) of Conway; daughter, Dr. Jennifer Harrell (Charles) of Morrilton; brother, Timmy Price of Conway; step-mother, Jaccye Price; grandchildren: Austin Price, Madison Harrell and Brandon Harrell; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00PM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00AM at Friendship Baptist Church with Bro. Ken Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Sonny Thrasher, Mike Langford, Clifford Towels, Jerry Carroll, Terry Gill, Brad Ussery and Jim Dick. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Friendship Baptist Church.

Arlene, I was saddened to hear about your loss. I had only met Bobby on a few times but he seemed like a great guy. Your family has been like an extended family to us. My heart is broken for you all. I'd never met a nicer man, and his wife, than Bobby and Arlene. I'm so thankful I got to meet you two. Jaccye told me I would love you all, right off the bat, and I did!
I always admired the way Jaccye loved her stepson's. She never made a difference between her biological and step. I love all of you, and will be praying for God to give you strength...I know Bobby is healthy and probably having dinner with God! Love you all! Susan Wendell
