Richard Olen Hendrickson, 93, of Conway passed from this life on Sunday, June 12, 2016. He was born Sunday, November 19, 1922 in Hiwasse, Arkansas to Rev. J.W. and Nona Gill Hendrickson. He graduated from Conway High School in 1942 and spent his career as a flooring contractor and cattle farmer. He was a lifelong member of First Church of the Nazarene.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Dr. Richard (Dicky) O. Hendrickson, Jr., Robert R. Hendrickson and all of his siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 74 years Rebecca Hendrickson of Conway, children Dr. William G. Hendrickson and wife Susan of Wichita Falls, Texas, Don Hendrickson and Donna of Little Rock, Joy Wiedower and husband Fred of Conway and daughter in law Annette Hendrickson of Conway. Other survivors include 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Don Chandler and Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be George Baker, James Baker, Sam Sneed, Hal Honeycutt, Harold Comstock, Kent Griffin, Bill Milburn and Phil Lewis.

What a blessing today as the memories of Richard were relived today through the word spoken by the Preachers and the wonderful singer --What beautiful words and music.
It was a time of rejoicing for a man that will suffer no more but is in heaven with our Lord and Savior.
What a legacy he left with his family.

When I first started attending CFCN, I fell in love with this couple. I thought they were the sweetest couple I had ever seen. They are such a Godly example of what marraige is supposed to be.
Richard you will be missed by so many, but your life has blessed so many.
