My prayers and sympathies as you lay Brother West to rest today. He was an outstanding man and Reverend. He led me to Christ and baptized me when I was 8 years old in bible school at Second Baptist Church. He was a friend to my mother for many years. I am sure he will be greatly missed by many.

Great man & a wonderful pastor! He will be missed by many folks, including one that was converted during a revival meeting preached by Bob Harrington (The "Chaplain of Bourbon Street") at the church he pastured, Second Baptist Church on January 5th., 1966....ME! He provided wise council & lots of encouragement many times thereafter! RIP Bro. West!
