Clyde Junior Cossey, 78, of Conway passed away February 26, 2016 at his home after a long illness. He was born December 12, 1937 in Gravesville to Clyde Blackmon and Floy Holland Cossey. Clyde graduated from Southside high school in Damascus and attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. He was a member of Saltillo Heights Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. Clyde served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Saratoga as an air traffic controller. He also worked at Kimberly Clark in Conway from its startup date until he retired. Clyde enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and gardening.

He is survived by his wife Holly Susan Cossey, two sons: John (Brenda) Cossey of North Little Rock, Lance Cossey of Conway; four daughters: Mary Jane (Joe) Lachowsky of Conway, Janice Cossey of Conway, Karen Mathis of Sherwood, Rachel Roberts of Conway; seven grandchildren: Jackson Cossey, Hope Cossey, Raven Cossey, David Romero, Emma Katherine Cook, Linley Cook, Anna Grace Macomber.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, sister Ouida Jewel Harvey and an infant sister, and grand-daughter Faith Rogers.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Thad Hardin, Conway Regional Hospital, Gentiva Hospice and the 286 Volunteer Fire Department.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saltillo Heights Baptist Church Building Fund.

Visitation will be February 28, 2016 from 4:00-6:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral Service will be Monday February 29, 2016 at 10:00AM at Saltillo Heights Baptist Church in Conway with Burial following at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

I Went to school with Clyde for several years at , South Side High School. He was a very nice and quite person. To all his family, I am sorry for your loss. Also I have family that goes to Saltillo Baptist Church, The Woodcocks.. Your family is in my Prayers.
