Ronald Wayne Kersh 77, a long time Searcy resident, passed away January 22, 2018.
He was born December 4, 1940 in Warrensburg, Missouri to Lee Roy Kersh and Cinderella Tippett Kersh, who preceded him in death. Ronald graduated from Harding Academy in 1958 and attended Harding College, now Harding University. Ronald was a member of the College Church of Christ. He was employed by Lightle Dobbins and Lightle for many years as a Real Estate and Insurance Agent. He continued his real estate and insurance careers until his retirement. He was also a former Searcy City Alderman.
Ronald is survived by his daughter Leisa Kersh Key and her husband John of Searcy; step children Brent Boggan and his wife Tonya of Austin, Texas and Kristina Johnson of Searcy; a granddaughter Kendall Key of Bentonville, Arkansas, step grandchildren Tray Johnson and Nicholas Johnson of Searcy, Brooke Boggan and Tucker Boggan of Austin, Texas, and special caregiver Faith Gonzales who said she was ''God Angel'' sent to take care of him.
A Graveside Service will be held on 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, 2018 at the White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy. Arrangements entrusted to Roller-Daniel Funeral Home of Searcy.
