Kiley (nee Burnett) Stuesse

March 5, 2016

Kiley (nee Burnett) Stuesse, passed away, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the age of 27.

Beloved wife of Curtis Stuesse; loving daughter of Bruce and Sheri Burnett (nee Grober) and daughter-in-law of Larry and Wendy Stuesse; dearest sister of Megan Burnett; dear granddaughter of Johnny and Barbara Burnett, Marce Gray and the late Glendon and Margie Grober; our dear sister-in-law, niece, cousin and friend.

Kiley graduated from Lafayette High School, Wildwood MO in 2006, graduated from Ouachita Baptist University - Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders; in Arkadelphia, AR in 2010, and graduated from Baylor University - Masters in Speech-Language Pathology; in Waco TX in 2014. She was married on July 10, 2015 to Curtis Stuesse.

Some of her many accomplishments were mission trips to Romania, Puerto Rico, Kenya, Kosovo, Ecuador, Brazil, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi and Missouri.

Kiley served as a bilingual SLPA in the Dallas metro for about 1.5 years. Kiley had a huge love of communication in all forms and was very gifted in languages. She was fluent in Spanish, had a working knowledge of Portuguese, attended a language institute of Linguistics (Wycliffe GIAL), and during chemo treatments started studying Arabic with her cousin.

She was a lover of food, people and cultures. Kiley has always had a great love for spreading God's word to people around the world. In the midst of her battle with cancer when asked her desires on continued treatment, Kiley responded her desire was "to continue traveling the world telling more people about God". Kiley and her husband had envisioned working and living in Nepal before her diagnosis.

Interment will be at Riverwood Memorial Gardens, Maumelle, AR, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 arranged by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211, (501) 224-8300.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during times of tragedy. At 1 Corinthians 15:26 we are promised that very soon 'death will be brought to nothing'. Then, we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones right here on earth (John 5:28,29). I truly hope this brings you comfort and hope. With deepest sympathies,
