Howard P. Stromberg, age 101, of Mountain Home, formerly of Lakeview, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Gassville, Arkansas. He was born on January 7, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Rose Stromberg (Sekowski).
Howard worked for 31 years as a mechanical engineer before retiring at the age of 57. Howard married his wife Veronica Stromberg on September 30, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois.
He is survived by his two daughters: Jeanette Grebing (Walt) of Broomfield, Colorado and Kathleen Stromberg of Grandlake, Colorado; 4 grandchildren: Marci Grebing, Kara Bettis, Valerie Imboden, and Melissa Chamberlin; 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceeded in death by his wife Veronica; his parents; four siblings: Harry, Margaret, Don, & Jean.
A funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Monday March 12, 2018 at 2 P.M. with Reverend Michael Clark Officiating. A private interment will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Baxter Memorial Gardens, Niche of Honor. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Knew your parents since they retired to Lakeview.. they were good friends with my parents... deer sweet people they were.. will always hold fond memories of them both... Sorry i could not attend Howard's services.. sending prayers of peace and comfort to you all.
