Nadine Henderson Easley passed away Monday, August 7, 2017, in Mountain Home. She was born in Mountain Home on November 8, 1930, the daughter of Lonzo and Cora Ruth (Meredith) Henderson. Nadine was married to Kenneth Ray Easley, who passed away in 2005.
She retired from the Baxter Bulletin after 30 years and was a member of the Mountain Home Church of Christ.
Nadine is survived by a daughter Kelda (Dale) Jones of Gamaliel, a son, Jarrett (Jacque) Easley of Mountain Home; seven grandchildren: Erin Jones, Lindsey (Jason) Barnes, Kyle (Karli) Jones, Jayme (Robert) Hancock, J.T. (Brittany) Easley, Jocelyn (Philip) Gonten and Jacob Easley, three great granddaughters: Katelyn and Makenna Barnes and Kennedy Gonten, two sisters: Jean Oakes of Mountain Home and Marvine (Jerry) Hallman of Winnsboro, Texas, a brother, T. J. (Bessie) Henderson of Mountain Home, as well as fifteen nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, Ray Henderson and sisters: Eileen Cowart and Maxine Crawford Gaskill.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017, at College and North Church of Christ with Dale Jones and Dale Cowart officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Paragould Children's Home or Hospice of the Ozarks.
Kelda and Jarrett,,,,, I did not know that your mother had passed away until today when I was reading TJ's Obit. on here. I am very sorry. I pray she did not suffer. I always thought your mother was very beautiful both inside and out. I knew your whole family back then,,,,,have such good memories of all of ya'll. I pray all are doing well, and that God will help you cope with the loss of your loved one.

I am so sorry to hear of Nadine's passing. I worked with her long ago at the Baxter Bulletin. She was a sweet, charming and grand lady. One of the bright spots of my time there. You have my deepest sympathy.
