Cynthia P. Johnson, age 82, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Mountain Home. She was born June 30, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Sophie (Velichko) Provenzano. Cynthia married Jerry Johnson May 23, 1959 in Brookfield, Illinois. In retirement they moved to Bull Shoals in February, 1998 from Naperville, Illinois.
Cynthia is survived by two sons: Joseph (Beth) Johnson of Counce, Tennessee and Rick (Heather) Johnson of Parkville, Maryland, by three grandchildren: Caitlin, Faith and Grant Johnson, by two sisters: Jean (Ted) Schuler of Countryside, Illinois and Joan Anderson of Springhill, Florida, by three brothers-in-law: Richard (Tammy) Johnson of Tucson, Arizona, Robert (Pam) Johnson of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and Chris Schnepple of Silvis, Illinois, by sister-in-law, Ruth Johnson of Davenport, Iowa, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the funeral service at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Twin Lakes Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Reverend John Lewandowski officiating. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to ''Have a Heart Animal Shelter'' in Flippin, Arkansas. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home. Our condolences to the family. I knew both Cindy and Jerry from St. Peter's church and sang in the choir with Jerry. What a wonderful couple.
