Years ago I had the opportunity to help Bessie care for her husband Harold as a home health aide. She was devoted to him and gave him such loving care until it became beyond what she and we could provide. She deserves a peaceful rest.

What a remarkable lady. Bessie persevered in life in spite of many challenges. She never complained. Nor was she ever bitter or resentful. Bessie had a kind and loving heart and was one of the most giving individuals I have ever known. I will miss Bessie's wit, her unique story telling ability, and her enormous love for me. I love you Miss Bessie, and I will never forget you! ❤️
