Marguerite Chapman

June 2, 1920 - December 4, 2016

Marguerite Chapman, 96, of Glenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, June 2, 1920 to the late Walter and Ethel Baker Seaver. She married Les Chapman and spent most of her years in Zion, Il.

Marguerite enjoyed gardening, knitting, woodcarving, and bowling. She was known for dancing at social functions and especially cherished big band music! She spent her working years making TV's and packaging Zion chocolate chip cookies.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include two sons, Fred Oliver Chapman of Beach Park, IL and Timothy J. Chapman (Peggy) of Glenwood, AR; daughter, Donna Lee Chapman Daley of Marshfield, WI; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 38 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Leslie J. Chapman; son, Gerald James Chapman; brother, Earl Seaver; and sister, Donna Joyce Miller.

The funeral service will be Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel, Mt. Home, AR (870) 425-2161. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mt. Home.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 2338 US-62, Mountain Home, AR 72653. Arrangements are in the care of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, Little Rock, AR (501)224-8300.

We are so sorry for loss of aunt June. So many great memories . Loved her so much , she was always cheerful and happy. Our thoughts and prays are with all of the family.

You are so missed Grandma.
I have so many memories from childhood to adulthood that I will forever cherish. One being your 92nd birthday in Las Vegas. Had so much fun!
