Bill Mitchell, age 81, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, in Mountain Home. He was born January 31, 1935, in Cash, Arkansas to Bilbo and Wilma (Batson) Mitchell.
Bill married Joy Gail Dodd April 17, 1970, in Mountain Home. He was a retired Home Builder and Cattle Rancher in the Baxter County Area. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain Home.
Bill is survived by a son Perry Mitchell and wife Tammy of Mountain Home, two daughters Vicki Cowart and husband Jeff of Gainesville, Missouri and Debbie Blasi and husband Wayne of Mountain Home, eight grandchildren Aaron Mitchell, Krista Hunter, Chase Amyx and wife Miranda, Ryan Amyx, Michael Feeney, Tyler Feeney, Cassie Worley and husband Brandon and Melissa Blasi and nine great grandchildren Kiernan, Hayden, Berkley, Haley, Isaac, Jacob, Charlotte, Adisen and Dawson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and two grandsons Matthew and David.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home with Ron Kincaid officiating. A visitation will be Friday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association or donors choice. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
