Ellen Schulz Duncklee, age 89 of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of Harriet, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 in Vero Beach, Florida. She was born in Garden City, Minnesota on July 2nd, 1927 to Herbert Schulz and Winifred Hart Schulz. She grew up on a farm in Lake Crystal, Minnesota where her dad raised wheat and corn. Ellen had two wonderful parents, a brother, Morton and a sister, Alice who preceded her in death.

Ellen was a faithful woman of God. She loved Jesus and she loved people. She was a devoted wife and caring mother. Her grandchildren were a joy in her life. Ellen was a creative and passionate seamstress. She could duplicate anything from just a sample. She loved to sew bags, purses, quilts, clothes and other crafty items. Ellen was a member of Faith Baptist Church and had served in many other ministries over the years. She was always willing to help wherever she was needed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Vernon who passed away on September 12th, 2011.

Ellen is survived by her children, Vicki Rosendahl (Ron), Timothy Duncklee, William Duncklee (Regina Martin) and Bonnie Freeh (Andy); and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Chris Rosendahl, Matt Rosendahl, Kerry Rosendahl, David Duncklee, Diane Duncklee, Jason Duncklee, Joshua Duncklee, Rider Rosendahl and Reese Rosendahl.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 26th, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church in Vero Beach, Florida at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Faith Baptist Church for their building fund, http://faithbaptistvb.com/ci/mf/pages/view/church600, 7966 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32966.

Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens in Marshall, Arkansas.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Sweet miss Ellen taught me a lot of things in the Wed. night class at church. She never lost her patience with all of us rowdy kids. I have 2 pins that she gave me. I've kept them for 20 years in what I call my treasure box. She was a fine lady. She was loved so much and appreciated.

I'm am so sorry to hear about Ellen. She was a wonderful lady and a great inspiration to all who new her. Her years at Harriet church were a blessing to all the children she taught. Prayers for the family.
