Melvin Donald Charlton, age 80, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at his home. Mr. Charlton was born May 23, 1938 in Trenton, Arkansas to the late Dan and Annie Charlton.
He is survived by three sisters, Myrt Montgomery, Mary Lou Delk (Larry) and Brenda Dunlap (Jessie), all of West Helena; one brother, James Charlton of Jackson, Tennessee; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Charlton was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dexter Charlton and Jerry Charlton; and two sisters, Dorothy Rimmer and Naomi Hastings.
A graveside service for Donald Charlton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.
Pallbearers are Zach Delk, Chandler Delk, Dennis Delk, Scotty Fraiser and Johnny Rimmer. Honorary pallbearers are Sonny Bernard and Clifford Bragdon.

Donald was my cousin. I am the daughter of Cheryl(Buie)Atkins,grand daughter of Ivy(Williams) skinner, and great grand daughter of Clara Williams. We are so sorry to hear of Donald’s passing.
