So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at
2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,  who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

My dad, Ray Finley, past away in May of 1997. Uncle Vernon was his step-brother. Anyway to make a long story short a couple years after I went out there to put flowers on it an there was a tum stone. No one had any idea who bought an paid for it because the person wanted to remain anonymous. After a couple of years later he was taking to my husband,Gene, anwanted to know if we like it. Gene said we did an how did he know about it anyway he came down to my house after work an wanted to know if it was ok.He said he was out there visiting Grandma Effie grave an wasn’t for sure was dad was an said that was the least he could do an I ask him why he didn’t want us to know. He said he didn’t think he had done much an didn’t want us to feel indebted to human only decided to tell us after he heard someone else was taking credit for it. As a few tears rolled down my face I gave him a big hug an he said your dad was a hard working man an never ask anyone for nothing an slaved his whole life an would take the shirt off his back and give it as he down without. But this was one time he could do something for him an dad couldn’t argue with him. He was finally able to one up him. I gave a little laugh. Uncle Vernon said you know how he was. That tells you the kind of man he was. Uncle Vernon tell my dad I really miss him an love him as much as ever. Now maybe you can get some well deserved rest. With love, Sissy Mochelle that’s what you always called me.
