Irene Box, age 76, of Wynne, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 05, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Box was born March 9, 1942 in Elaine, Arkansas to the late Damon and Lottie Patton. She worked as the manager of the Cherry Garden Apartments in Memphis for 18 years.

Mrs. Box is survived by her husband, Joe; two sons, Harold Box (Angela) and Steve Box, both of Wynne; two daughters, Brenda Stephens (Otis) of Elaine and Michelle Luna (Jose) of Wynne; 11 grandchildren, Sophia Luna, Olivia Luna, Wesley Andrade, Melissa Stephens, Sheena Stephens, Kristina Box, Skylar Box, Steven Box, Matthew Box, Khy Butler-Andrade and Camden Andrade; seven great-grandchildren, Berkley, Cameron, Jenner Cameron, Bailie Reece, McKenzie Reece, Collin Regan and Talmadge Box; three sisters, Sandy Harvey of Des Arc, Diane McMillen (David) of Des Arc and Connie Glosson (John) of Warren; one brother, Sonny Patton (Alpha) of Conway; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Wesley Andrade; four sisters, Ethel Puckett, Janie Faulkner, Sissy Martin and Linda Troy; and three brothers, Buddy Patton, Johnny Patton and Roy Patton.

A funeral service for Irene Box will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with visitation preceding the service from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena following the service. Brother Rex Jones will officiate.

Pallbearers are Steven Box, Matt Box, Steve Harvey, Jose Luna, Otis Stephens and Aaron Bradshaw.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
