Though separated by time and distance, Kay Kaiser King was, is and will forever be my friend and teammate. I am less than I was because of his death.

It is my fervent prayer that Our Holy Father will give his loved ones what they need in this time of their loss.

I knew Mr. King through my father and playing sports with Mike and Tooter through the years. It’s never easy to lose a loved one but in time we understand they are in a better place when they leave us. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike, Tooter and the rest of the family

Kay Kyser was a great football player. With Bill Gray, Ken Hatfield and him in the backfield the Central High School Indians didn’t lose many games. He went with Ken and Bill to Fayetteville on a football scholarship. He would have been a great Razorback running back but didn’t enjoy his classes. Kay Kyser was also a gentle giant. One evening my brother Ray was shooting pool somewhere when a big bully came in and started going around looking for a fight ..... until KK came in. Bully quickly went to sit with his back to the crowd. Ray was quickly over glad handing KK to make sure everyone knew they were family!

Kay was always a lot of fun! One had to be tough enough to deal with Kay; that iwas just the way it was in those days. Kay's nickname(from the 4th street boys) was "Honey. He was just a nice guy."

I am glad to have known K.K. King who was a very gracious family man. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ first and foremost and his family, with all of his heart. As an incredible running back for Central High School, Kay never ran around a block, but rather ran INTO it!! In addition to being an awesome football player, Kay was also an awesome husband, father and faithful Christian man. He will be sorely missed at Harmony Baptist Church where he and his precious wife, Winnie worshiped every Sunday. Love and prayers to the family.
