Billy King, 89, of West Helena passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. King was born November 15, 1928 in Norphlet, Arkansas to the late William Jay and Ladye Mae Patrick King. He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and he worked for Mohawk Tire and Rubber Company. Mr. King was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He loved to garden and fish and he loved his church family.
He is survived by a son, Billy Wayne King (Karen) of Pea Ridge; daughter, Janice Glover (Raymond) of West Helena; five grandchildren, Casey King, Candice Bancroft, Shane Vines, Richard Agee and Ryan King; one great-grandchild, Austin Agee; and a brother, Kay Keiser King (Winnie) of West Helena.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby King; son, John King; and two sisters, Mary Rohrscheib and Emma Trainer; and a brother, Frank Cotton King.
A service for Billy King will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Turner Cemetery in Turner. Brother Fred Garrison will officiate.
Pallbearers are Shane Vines, Jason Agee, Casey King, Kay-Bock King, Mike Mathis, Zack Haas and Kurt Moore.

Mr billy was one of the kindest person's i remember growing up. We went to the same church when i was younger along with his family.
Bubba and Janice,my heart is with you and all of the family.Mr.King was a awesome man! Him and Mrs.Ruby are resting high on that mountain together.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mr. Billy was a man who I looked up to all my life. He was a great example for us not only as children but adults.
