Charlotte Slayton, 82, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away February 22, 2018 in Dewitt, Arkansas. Mrs. Slayton was born January 30, 1936 at Marvell, Arkansas to the late Herbert and Mary Bell Snyder Moore. She was a retired LPN at the Helena Hospital and a member of the Trenton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Slayton is survived by a son, Steve Slayton (Kathy) of Lexington, Tennessee; daughter, Connie Lavallee (Albert) of Lawton, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Andrews of Maddox Bay, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special pet dog ''Doc''.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, James Slayton; daughter, Susan Slayton, grandson, Charles Slayton and a brother, Malloyd Moore.

Funeral services for Charlotte Slayton will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Mike Shelley will officiate.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Slayton. I always enjoyed all her stories of her nursing days! This nurse will miss her and her stories!!
