Rosie Mae Smith, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at her home with her family around her. Miss Rosie was Born August 31, 1914 in Gurdon, Arkansas to John Warren Reynolds and Lula Katherine Kitchens.
Miss Rosie is survived by four sons, Vernon Smith (Bernice) of Helena, Arkansas, Virgil Smith of La Grange, Arkansas, Arlin Smith (Sue) of Marianna, Arkansas, James ''Doodlebug'' Smith of Lexa; three daughters, Kathy Davis of Lexa, Rosa Helton (Sonny) of Lexa and Brenda Reyna (Robert) of Barton, Arkansas; twenty four grandchildren, host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Amanda Staggs of Midwest City, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Smith of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years, Thomas Elvie Smith; three sons, Thomas Warren Smith, Dale Smith, Douglas Smith; three brothers and five sisters.
Services will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:00 P. M. at United Pentecostal Church in West Helena, Arkansas 405 Porter Street. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Chapel in West Helena 508 Plaza (870) 5722571
