Willard Lee Powell, 86, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Forrest City, Arkansas. Mr. Powell was born September 22, 1929 at Beebe, Arkansas to the late Henry J. Powell and the late Minnie Sartin Powell Davis. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Powell is survived by one son, John Willard; two daughters, Martha Gentry and Carolyn Richardson (Ivan); five grandchildren, James Gentry (Connie), Rena Corbitt, Joni Burkett, Heather Dillinger and Tiffiny Berry; eleven great-grandchildren, James Gentry III, Chyanne Gentry, Eddie Corbitt, Jr., Ciera Corbitt, Christopher Adams, Tripp Burkett, Leighann Burkett, Makinzee Berry, Kyzer Berry, Bethanie Dillinger and Rylan Dillinger; and two great-great-grandchildren, Emry Raney and Julie Chisnall.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services for Willard Lee Powell will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Michael Dillinger will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 Thursday at Roller-Citizens funeral home.
