Dennis Wayne Story, age 72, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his home. Mr. Story was born May 7, 1943 at Holly Grove, Arkansas to the late Coleman (Willis) and Opal Story. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Marvell.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Edwynne Brown Story; one son, Edwin Wayne Story (Katie) of Marianna; one daughter, Edwynne Erwin Story Davison (C.J.) of Memphis, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Will, Katie, Beau, Junior and Colby; one brother, Ben Story (Linda) of Forrest City; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a special nephew, Curtis Storey (Phyllis).
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Willis Story; and two brothers, Ronald and Jerry.
A graveside service for Dennis Story will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Eventide Cemetery in Marvell. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home. Brother Justin Curtis and Brother Steve Yarberry will officiate.
Pallbearers are Hugh Bonner, Lannie Travis, Reed Storey, Coleman Storey, Bentley Story, David Russell, Doug Simmons and Cotton Guest.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marvell Academy, P.O. Box 277, Marvell, AR 72366.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

Oh Edwynne, I am so sorry to hear about Dennis. I was shocked when David called to tell me. My heart goes out to you and your family. May the Peace of God be with you and help you through your time of sorrow. We will certainly keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. I do miss you.
