Norris Oxner, 79, of Ozark Missouri passed away Friday, July 17, 2015. Mr. Oxner was born September 8, 1935 to Jonas Wesley Oxner and Mary Lucille McBride. He served 20 years in Fire Service and retired as a building inspector from Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Theda D. Oxner; daughter, Victoria L. Oxner; grandson, Luke M. Oxner; daughter in-law, Melaine D. Oxner; sister, Sue Hislip; brother, Pete Oxner; sister, Betty Jo McClendon; brother, George Oxner; brother, Ricky Oxner; sister, Mary Jane Swan; brother, Jimmy Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son, Norris Vincent Oxner; brother, Carl Oxner; sister, Connie Turley and brother, Randy Oxner.
A service for Norris Oxner will be held at 11:00a.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Tuesday morning at 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Scott Watson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River Bluff Fellowship Church in Ozark, MO or Mercy Hospice of Springfield, MO.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena Arkansas, (870)572-2571.

My heartfelt condolences to you and the family. You are such a strong lady and I firmly believe God will reward you one day for the person you are and have been for your family. Please take care of yourself and know that I recall fond memories of our time spent together. Your dad was a great man and I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dear loved ones...We were so sorry to hear of Norris passing...Due to health reasons we are unable to attend the services, but you are all in our thoughts and our hearts are with you all in love.....and sympathy. In case you don't remember who we are...Our parents were Frank and Belle Oxner James...Love you all.

Uncle Norris was a wonderful person. I have precious memories at his home in Mountain Home. R.I.P. Uncle Norris and tell the family we love and miss them so.
