I was so saddened to hear of Mrs. Roberts' passing. She was not only a great teacher but wonderful person. I know Mr. Roberts met her at the gate with open arms wearing that baseball cap holding a hammer. They are both loved and missed by the Gibsons. All the fond memories of growing up with the Roberts' in Lexa will be with me forever.
God bless Mrs. Roberts. Sorry for your loss.
Dear Byron, Lafe, Mica and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Mrs. Roberts was an important mentor in my life. She was an awesome teacher and a positive influence in so many ways. May great memories be with you in days to come and stay with you always. She will be missed.

To Joyces children, Joyce was my 1st cousin, your grandma was my dads sister. I haven't seen Joyce in many years but kept up with her through David. So sorry for your loss, Joyce was a big part of my childhood as my 2 sisters and i spent a lot of time with Aunt Hattie and Uncle John. I thank David and Edith for letting me know. Sincerely , Sylvia Shipp Garrett

Mrs. Roberts,
It's hard to believe that you have left us and gone to a better place. I will forget you teaching mathematics to me for many years and making that all your students showed all their work! At that time, I was not a happy camper but today, I know exactly what you wanted from us and that was to give our very BEST! Thanks for all you did for me!
RIP
Byron, Lafe and Mica,
I am very sorry for your loss. I had your mother for several math classes at Barton. When I was in school I thought your mother stern however today I would say devoted. She was a great teacher and a lovely person. I know she will be missed. Be strong.
She and her husband were very dear to my grandmother Virgie Johnston and Claudie Johnston my mother also (Gail) I do know that when my grandpa passed they looked after grandmother, may there be many blessings upon this family at this difficult time. CLAUDIA
