Dennis E. Cavette, age 68, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Cavette was born January 4, 1947 at Marvell to the late Clyde Cavette and the late Arlena Harpole Cavette.
He worked in the Ag industry in Marvell from 1976-2012, where he retired as manager of Jimmy Sanders, Inc. He served as water commissioner in Marvell until his death. Mr. Cavette loved fishing, hunting, woodworking and growing a big garden every year. What he loved more than anything was giving his vegetables to others. He was a supporter of the community and also wanted to help out in any way he could.
He was a great provider for his family. He loved his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and especially his two grandkids. ''DeeDee'', as he was known to his grandchildren and friends, loved them dearly and would drop everything to do anything they wanted.
Mr. Cavette is survived by his wife of 45 years, Connie George Cavette; a daughter, Christy Davidson (Bert) of Marvell; two grandchildren, Easton and Aubrey; two sisters, Mary Vaiden (Philip) and Elizabeth Wooten (Tiny), all of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clyde Ramond Cavette; and one sister, Jessie Mae Cavette.
A service for Dennis Cavette will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2015 at Bob Neal and Sons Brickell Funeral Home in Marvell. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Joseph McIntosh will officiate.
Pallbearers are Dustin Guest, Kotton Guest, Donald Ray Washburn, Donald Gene Cavette, Doug Rohrscheib and Matthew Dunavan. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Guest, Clarence Guest, Charles Duffel, Houston Snyder, Ray Foran, Shelton Guest and Blue Hindsley.
Memorials may be made to County Line Baptist Church or to Marvell Academy.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

Mary Carolyn, Tiny and family, we were so sorry to hear of Dennis' sudden passing. It is difficult to lose those that we love and we know that each of you feel a big void in your lives.
