I attended nursing school with Lynne. She was so smart she set the curve on all the tests and most never came close to her. I remember she would say her smarts were book and life smart. She scored a perfect score on parts of the Nursing State Board and PCC of Nursing was recognized for it. SHe will be missed.
I am so sorry for your loss. My family's prayers go out to you and yours in this time of mourning.
Paul, Debbie & Mike, Julie, Paul Jr. and grandchildren,
Lynne and I were class-mates for many years. When we were in grade school she was late for class on a regular basis. We would tease her about this, saying things like," Lynne walks in when the rest of us are walking out". She would simply and sweetly respond with a smile.
We graduated in 1954 from Sacred Heart Academy, in a class of 8 girls and 4 boys. Four of our girls became nurses, and Lynne was one of these. She was a loving and dedicated care giver.
My wife Patricia, and I, had the pleasure of sharing a condo with Paul and Lynne during one of our annual class reunions many years ago. Paul and Lynne were a delight to be with. We became close friends and we will always cherish our time together.
About 4 or 5 years ago I was searching for a lake home in the Greers Ferry area, and called the real estate agent that had a listing on a house that I was interested in. An agent by the name of Debbie Brawley arrived to show me the house. After 30 minutes or so, Debbie mentioned that she grew up in West Helena. I asked who her parents were and I was shocked when she said Lynne and Paul. Since then, Patricia and I have had the privlege of becoming friends with Debbie and Mike. Debbie's patience, manners, and gentle demeanor reflect Lynne's motherly influence on her upbringing.
In all the years I knew Lynne, I never heard her speak ill of anyone. Nor, did I ever hear her complain as she became older and struggled to walk. We miss her and we will keep her and all of you in our prayers.

To Lynn's family,
We were out of town this weekend and just learned of Lynn's death this afternoon. Otherwise I would have at her funeral today.
Lynn and I graduated from Central High together and in our two years there together I knew her as such a lovely person and friend.. My most recent visit with her was after her performance in "Cinderella" and she was still glowing with excitement. I loved watching her on the stage, dancing and laughing -- just like the young girl I first knew. I am thankful for her friendship and will miss her. Jimmy joins me in sending sincere sympathy to you all in your loss. Peggy
