Lola Bench, 88, a resident of Paris passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at the Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 10, 1930, in the Red Bench Community near Paris to the late John M. and Murl (Rice) Zeiler. Lola was a member of the Church of Christ in Paris. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald W. Bench; two sons, Stephen and Ronald Bench; a daughter, Regina Bench and a brother, John Zeiler.
Survivors include a son William Bench and wife, Patti of Paris; a daughter-in-law, Patricia "Trisha" Bench of Roseville; four grandchildren, Erin Wright and husband, Charlie of Wynne, Crail Bench and Joey of Austin, Texas, Thad Bench of Paris and Jonathan Bench and wife, Tracy of Barling; three great grandchildren, Will and McKenna Wright, both of Wynne and one on the way.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the Church of Christ in Paris with Bro. Kevin Heavin officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery near Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bench, Crail Bench, Max Harrison, Charlie Wright, Will Wright and Dr. Jim Shearer. Thad Bench and Joey Lazeren will serve as honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Home, 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450.
