Frieda J. Friga, 96 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Paris. She was born on October 4, 1921 in Shoal Creek, Arkansas to her parents, Lee and Rose (Anhalt) Kremers. She was a hard working homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Mothers Society in Paris and the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Rose (Anhalt) Kremers; her husband, Bernard E. Friga; her grandson, Michael A. Friga and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Maddox and husband Jim of Paris and Cindy Dudley and husband A. Gatewood of Americus, Georgia; two sons, Michael Friga and wife Dee of Mayflower and Bobby Friga and wife Marilyn of Russellville; her sister-in-law, Katie Elsken of Paris; four grandchildren, Austin Maddox and wife Sandy, David Friga, Leslie Maddox and Sabra Bearden and husband Brian; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm. with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 24, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris officiated by Fr. Eugene Luke O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Austin Maddox, Corey Friga, Brian Bearden, Kevin Schneider, Dennis Elsken and Dennis Lensing. Honorary pallbearers will be St. Joseph Mother's Society, Kitty McDonald, Judy Cooper, Mary Edelhuber, Dorothy Koch and Georgia Gill.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Greenhurst Nursing Center, Mercy Hospital in Paris and the nurses and aides of the Paris Health Department.
