Phyllis Ann (Holsted) Chambers a resident of Danville, formerly of Paris, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2017.
Phyllis was born in Paris on March 26, 1962, to John Ervin ''Hammer'' and Hazel (Helton) Holsted. She graduated from Paris, class of 1980, enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, Bingo and being with family and friends. Phyllis was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mackaray Chambers, a brother, Vernon Holsted and a sister, Martha Veazey.
Survivors include her son, Robert Chambers of Waveland; two grandchildren; eight siblings, Agnes (Finney) Kiefer, Willie Mae Hogan and husband, RL, Bonnie Havens, Emma Gibson and husband, Thomas, Linda Maddon and Glinda Hobbs and husband, Thomas, all of Paris, Gladys Brockett and husband, Weldon of Altus, William (Butch) Holsted of Colgate, Oklahoma and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tammy Frederick officiating.
