Margaret Mary Borengasser, 95, of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 in Fort Smith. She was born on October 22, 1921 in Morrison Bluff, Arkansas to her parents, Joseph and Annie (Schlaf) Walbe. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Scholastica Catholic Church and Mothers Society in Shoal Creek and the Catholic Women's Association.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Annie (Schlaf) Walbe; her husband Edward J. Borengasser; one son, Thomas Borengasser; two sisters, Elizabeth Wewers and Sister Marian Walbe and two brothers, Andrew Walbe and Leon Walbe.

She is survived by her five daughters, Sandra Ahlert and husband, James of Subiaco, Joan Guthrie of Muskogee, Susan Gamble and husband, Mike of Spiro, Celeste Smith and husband, Berrye of Fort Smith and Barbara Carter of Fort Smith; two sons, Nick Borengasser and wife, Kim of Fort Smith and Doug Borengasser and wife, Renee of Russellville; three sisters, Josephine Basgall of Overland Park, Kansas, Juanita Perry of Fort Smith and Ann Frietsche of Florida; one brother, Joseph Walbe and wife Mary of Fort Smith; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Viewing hours in Paris will be from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. The rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith officiated by Fr. John Antony. Burial will follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m., under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Berrye Smith, Jim Ahlert, Robert Ahlert, Walter Davis, Johnny Banning and Jim Black.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital Tribute Program P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38105.
