Martha Kathryn Hayward, 65, our beloved wife, mother, and Grammy, went peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. She was born June 14, 1951 to Margaret Carr Knight of Paris, Arkansas. She attended Paris High School and married Jacky Dan Hayward. The family eventually relocated to Midland, Texas in 1985. Jacky and family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all for strength, peace and comfort at this time.

Martha was more than a friend, she was my sister in the Lord and my teacher. We laughed, cried, sang, prayed and studied together over many years and many situations. She always saw the bright spot and silver lining in every cloud. A godly woman of much wisdom and insight, Martha lived Proverbs 31 and reflected the glory of her King. She is surely enjoying His Presence and delighting Him with her adoration and praise.

Love to all,
Katie

She was beautiful on the inside and out- she was an amazing women- strong in her mind and in her faith, kind hearted, a wonderful & devoted Wife, a loving & supportive Mom, an awesome fun loving Grammy, a great Aunt, and a true friend to many. I will forever remember her laughter & beautiful smile!

The Rescue
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.
