After reading all the sweet things in Gordon's guestbook we know we missed "knowing" a special man. I would have loved talking to him about gardening! Harry & I are so sorry for your loss. We are never ready to say goodbye.

I recently passed through Midway and saw Gordon working with a hoe behind his house. I stopped and we had a good visit. I hadn't seen him in years, but it was a pleasure to "catch up" with one of the best men I have ever known!
No better example of a Christian man than Gordon Trusty. He was humble and pleasant. Regrets to his family at this time.
God's speed Mr. Trusty! Larry Molinaro and I are blessed to know you through the Farmers Market. Loved all your hugs! The best cucumbers ever! Will see you again in the gardens of Heaven.

Dear Family:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss and Mr. Trusty's gain. His garden would get my mouth watering for what I knew would be top grade produce. His diligence was due noted in his love of gardening and showed the discipline he expected of himself. What a role model he gave us just by passing by his garden!! May you treasure your memories.

I look towards the garden every time I pass by. Just saw him with hoe in hand working along with his walker close by. I always said a prayer of blessing for he was doing what he loved. I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he was concerned about me and my cancer. He said I have been praying for you. I told him I was praying for him too. He said, "Lori I have lived a good life, I am old you are young and have many years ahead." I hugged him with all my love! He will always be in my heart with all the memories I will cherish. Heaven gained an angel. We all have been blessed by Gordon!! Prayers for all the family.
Gordon and Margie were 2 of our favorites at the Midway AG Church. They were both great people. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. I know he will be greatly missed in the church and in the Midway community as well as by those who bought his produce. As his children he passed you a wonderful legacy and something you can treasure. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May the wonderful memories you have be a blessing to you in the coming days.
I am so sorry to hear about this. Gordon and I had some very nice genealogy moments, and I loved his smile and seeing him out in his garden when I would pass by. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
