Lucille Huckaby, 95 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Paris. She was born on March 21, 1920 in Hamilton, Texas to her parents Herbert and Ethel May (Carter) Thornton. She was a retired waitress and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ethel May (Carter) Thornton; her husband, Charles E. Huckaby; two sons, Joe Pierce and Jim Pierce and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Seretha Watson of Paris, Arkansas; her son, Harold Pierce of Danville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Kenny Maness. Burial will follow in McVay Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Parks, Gary Deason, Bob Burnham, Gary Barnes, Richard Zimmer and Marvin Wiggins.
So sorry to hear about our dear neighbor. Lucille was a loving, kind lady. We will miss her greatly! God Bless the family.

Wow, could that lady make fried pies. One of our favorite memories is a knock at our door, there she stood, loaded down with fried pies. Our prayers for you all, we sure will miss our "granny".
