Virginia Jones, 85 of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in New Blaine. She was born on April 14, 1929 in Paragould, Arkansas to her parents Floyd Eugene and Mena (Clark) McEwen. She was a homemaker and worked for her husband Dr. Charles E. Jones for ten years. Virginia attended Russellville Christian Center, volunteered at the Community Outreach Center in Paris, loved working on crafts, attending craft shows and sewing blue jean purses and dresses for her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Eugene and Mena (Clark) McEwen; her husband of sixty four years Dr. Charles E. Jones; three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Valliere and husband Carl of New Blaine and Debra Mallon of Florida; two grandchildren, Leslee Finken and husband Kent of Russellville and Jason Valliere and wife Toni of Brookfield, Wisconsin and four great-grandchildren, Chloe Finken, Remie Finken, Cole Valliere and Macy Valliere.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Russellville Christian Center in Russellville under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Memorial contributions may be made to Russellville Christian Center, 305 Lake Front Drive Russellville, AR 72802.
Now Ginny can sing again with Sonny...voices blended, in Love of Jesus and each other. They are both missed but we will all meet again on the other side.
