George Arlis Pettigrew, 63 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on December 3, 2014 in Paris. He was born on January 12, 1951 in Paris to his parents Melton Eugene and Mamie Irene (Robinson) Pettigrew. He was a retired construction worker and of the Assembly of God Faith.
He is preceded in death by his father Melton Pettigrew and one brother James Pettigrew.
He is survived by his wife Jennie Pettigrew; two sons, George Pettigrew of Corcoran, California and David Pettigrew of Paris, Arkansas; one step daughter, Christina Gilmore of Paris, Arkansas; one step son David Gilmore of Paris, Arkansas; two sisters, Theresa Spinks of Lucerne, California and Shelia Gasteri of Oxnard, California; four brothers, Bill Pettigrew of Susanville, California, Danny Pettigrew of Paris, Arkansas, David Pettigrew of Van Buren, Arkansas and Tim Pettigrew of Paris, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Friday, December 12, 2014 at First Assembly of God Church in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

ive lost 4 members of my family in dec, dad james, my babygirl axlerose, now you .there were alot of nights butch i dont know what i would have done if it wasnt for you talking to for hours on the phone. and we had more to talk about when we were kids, on the ranch i remember your first day of school james and i were so pround of you .i love you ur my big bubby,may you be up there with dad james grandpa uncle john doug fishen, on thr river bank i love you all so very much ,miss each of yall love sis and terry
