I first got in touch with you in 1994 and I was able to meet you in person in 1999; I'm so glad I was able to meet you and wish I could have spent more time with you and known you better. Some of the things I learned in talking with you the last 15 years or so, is that you really wished the best for the family no matter who or where they were or what had gone on in their life. You seemed very comfortable with your relationship with Jesus and very ready to meet Him for a while now. I loved your sweet Southern drawl and your light hearted easy laugh. I love that I could be having a very hard time in life, not even have to tell you what was going on, and our simple conversation could just bring things into perspective. I will miss you. Lots of Love, Amy

Mom I miss you so much. The hole left in my heart can never be filled. The love of books you shared with me was one of the best parts of my life. Your postman will be happy he doesn't have to lug another box of heavy books up your steps again. You know he really never minded that though because he always said to you Jomae your daughter sent you more books. Remember when I sent three huge boxes of books and he kept having to go back to his truck. You called me and laughed so hard about sending them all at the same time that whenever I prepared more I always tried to make it a small box so your postman never had to struggle up those steps like that again. We laughed together many times since over that. You were the best friend and mother a girl could ever hope to have, Love you Mom, Debi

My grandma was a beautiful, giving, loving & caring woman. She worked hard her whole life, raised up her children and was an awesome grandma! I knew I could go to gma & she'd always give me sound advise. I will alway remember her strength and her laughter. She was a true inspiration to me. I knew I could overcome any hardship and still have laughter and happiness in life. I will miss you grandma.Love, Gina
