June 23, 1930 - September 16, 2018
Dortha Crafton Rhoades, age 88, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2018. She was born to the late Arville Bryan Thomas and Eula Mae Marlin on June 23, 1930.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dean Crafton and her second husband, Bratton Rhoades, one son, Danny Crafton and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, Lanny Crafton (Barbara) of Austin and Rodney Crafton (Carolyn) of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Mandy Coombe, Sarah Glanert, Sydney Teer, and Matthew Crafton; four great-grandchildren, Austin Coombe, Anna Claire Coombe, Mia Crafton and Cole Glanert; and one brother, Olen Thomas of North Little Rock.
Dortha will forever be remembered as a woman of strength and perseverance, a true Proverbs woman who loved the Lord. Dortha was well known as a life-long Baptist woman of faith, she was a devoted member of Sherwood First Baptist Church and had a true servant's heart. She had a passion for Missions and went on many missions as far afield as to Brazil. Dortha continued her servanthood, by volunteering at nursing homes during her later years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Sincere condolences to Mrs. Dortha’s family. She was always so nice the few times I met her. My mother, Bernice Graham Stacks, was a first cousin to Bratton, another really nice person.
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I know that she is at peace now.
I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you all love and compassion and lift you all up into his loving arms
Rest in peace you will be missed by many
