Cleda Rae Haley, age 87, went to be with her Lord on August 1, 2018. She was born to the late Howard Paul and Fleda Faye Goodman on November 1, 1930 in Piggott, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Haley; one son, Carl Rae Haley; her parents and one sister, Reda Mae Harber.
She is survived by her son, Neil (Debbie) Haley of Clinton, AR; four grandchildren, Garrett, Kyle and Eric Haley and Gayle Russell; two great grandchildren, Samuel and Julia Haley; one sister, Erma Rene McGinnis of Heber Springs, AR; and two brothers, James Howard Goodman of Beebe, AR and Dean Goodman of St. Louis, MO.
Cleda was a General Baptist Minister's wife for over 50 years. She exemplified what a Proverbs woman should be and devoted her heart to the ministry and to the loving care of her family. She worked as an accountant for North Little Rock Waste Water for 29 years and excelled in this line of work due to her excellent mathematic skills.
She has left a lasting living legacy to her family and to the people who were blessed to have known her.
Funeral Service to honor the Life of Cleda will be Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, 142 North 3rd Ave., Piggot, AR. Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2:00 '''' 4:00 P.M., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock. Burial after the funeral service at Piggott Cemetery.
