Mark, you will be dearly missed. We have lived next door to each other for 25 years.
A Letter from Heaven to my family from Mark!
When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not here to see if the sun should rise and find your eyes filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did when I first passed away while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say! I know how much you loved me as much as I love you, and each time you think of me, I know you'll mess me too. When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your hearts.
Blessings! Gone but not forgotten!

Mark you was a good neighbor and friend. I met you thru Duane .
We miss your front yard grilling , smelled good. You always was kind and had a smile. Watched you play ball with your son. You will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Fly high with the angels my friend.

When I think of basketball, I think of Mark. We and the GR crew were always meeting up somewhere to shoot hoops. Mark always impressed me. He was always good to me in his quiet way and fun to be around at all times. We were even on the NPHS golf team together and had a blast every day!! Great times. My first concert was Def Lappard. The '83 pyromania tour, never forget, it was a great time. Me, Mark P. and Mark Galbreath and I believe Eddie Miller. Anyway, There's many many good memories about Mark. Prayers to his friends and family. May God give them comfort. Fly with the eagles brother, we will meet again!!!

Really glad we had reconnected and kept up through the Hogs in the World Series. Really thought i'd be able to see you this fall. Even though we had drifted over the years you were always one of the dudes I considered to be part of my pack. You were a fierce competitor and great athlete that played within the rules and were an awesome teammate. I remember skipping school one day to go to some party in Arbor Oaks or perhaps it was a snow day. We had been partying already and had gotten lost in Arbor Oaks, not sure how that was possible. We ended up in a ditch in your Camaro. Not sure how we survived that day. I've got tons of memories of hanging at Bills, playing hoops at the church in Gravel Ridge, golfing and on and on. Worked two jobs together at Bonanza and Stephen Thompson Trucking. You were always one of my moms favorites. Always so polite and quiet. Nothing but love for you my brother and I will see you again. RIP Mark, I love you man.
