November 11, 1931 - November 24, 2017
Jean J. Tinkle, 86, of North Little Rock, died Friday, November 24, 2017. She was born on November 11, 1931 to the late Asa and Lela Turner Johnston in Harrell. She is also preceded in death by four brothers: Troy Johnston, WB ''Boots'' Johnston, Clyde Odell Johnston, and WC ''Dub'' Johnston.
Jean is survived by her husband, Robert Tinkle; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Tinkle Michener (Steve) of Little Rock; two sisters: Blanche Bingham, Bobbie Nash; and many nieces and nephews.
Jean, a graduate of Warner Brown School of Nursing, was a Registered Nurse. Her skill and nurturing spirit were a gift to many. She enjoyed Razorback basketball and was an avid bridge player.
Graveside Memorial Service will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Arrangements made with Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Memorials may be made to Lakewood United Methodist Church, Endowment Fund, 1922 Topf Road, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
