Dear Milam Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. As part of my ministry work, I try to offer a brief word of comfort to families who have lost loved ones since this may be one of the hardest things any of us will ever have to endure.

Jesus spoke these comforting words to Martha after Lazarus’ death: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; and everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26)

The whole Christian congregation received comfort and encouragement when they heard the Apostle Paul say "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

I hope this note serves as a strengthening aide for your family during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Calvin Cox

So very sorry to hear this today. It had been a while since I had seen you, my friend, but you were always so nice to me in all the many years I'd known you (from The Dix's; and Nolton & Mary Goode living next door). Rest in Peace and Love ~ My thoughts and Prayers to your family.
