Mildred Davis Glover

January 5, 1923 - July 7, 2017

Mildred Davis Glover, 94, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord July 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, husband Lloyd Glover and one son, Ricky Glover.

Mildred retired from Arkansas Electric then worked many years as a Registrar for the Little Rock Convention Bureau. She was a faithful member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. Her strong Christian faith had an everlasting impact on family and many others. Always active and on the go, she never met a stranger, offering encouragement to everyone. Her world revolved around church and family, never missing a ballgame or event, even if in a wheelchair.

She is survived by daughters, Gail Dunaway (Charlie) and Debbie Gillespie (Richard); grandchildren Jody Forst (Paul), Jami Lupkey (Drew), Cate Barnett (Zach), Angela Dunaway and Jason Gillespie; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer St., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114. Interment to follow at Hicks Cemetery, Lonoke, Arkansas. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M., Monday, July 10, 2017 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116. Memorials may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church.

My world was a better place with Mildred in it. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend and I will miss her dearly.

Debbie & Gail,

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. We all had many fun times together. She was a very loving & strong willed lady who loved her family & friends. Carla & I are out of state so we will not be at your moms service.
