Diane,

So sorry to hear about Danny. I remember all the fun times we had playing cards and visiting way back when we were young, and had small kids that played so well together. Miss those days.

Eddie and I got to see Danny and visit with him for awhile, the last time Eddie went down to the firing range to qualify.

Please extend my condolences to Tonia and Chad.

Love you and will be praying for you. I know this is a hard time for all of you. Jerry

It's strange, I was just talking about Danny a week or two ago. I met Danny while I was a slick-sleeved trooper assigned to Troop A. He was assigned to the Auto Shop. I always enjoyed visiting with Danny and ol' Sgt. Troutman on my trips to their shop.

When I became a father (the first time) I was sharing this with Danny. I remember so well how he reached into his pocket and pulled out a faded photo of a little boy standing in front of an "old" ASP car and shared it with me. (He was proud, needless to say.) Based on that, when I would get a new ASP car, I would take a picture of my son with it. The last picture I think I have like that was my son and daughter standing in front of a new 2005 ASP Impala.

Danny, thank you for all you conversations and camaraderie.

Sincerely,

Sgt. Marty Pollock
